Who is Reading?

We were curious about who is keeping up with our adventures. If you have a minute, leave a comment on this post, letting us know who you are and how you heard about our blog. I don't believe you need to have a google account - just click on OTHER or ANONYMOUS on the comment page.

I read your blog every day.
(By the way, I was a little freaked out about "Ottie".)

Of course we read it--we dearly care about you!! We think about you daily and have a newfound hobby of keeping track of the weather on the east coast. All the best, Jamie and Trisha

Matt and I are avid readers... I even have that picture of M with his legs dangling off McAffee Knob as my desktop picture at work. I am so envious of you guys! We miss you!

It's very quiet around here now that you are gone, but I am still enjoying leftovers from Mark's cooking: yummy fennil and white bean soup with roasted veggies and walnut pate. Love, Aunt Mary

Of course I read it, I am your anxious mother. But, now having experienced the Trail myself with our short walk with you both in Virginia, I have a new appreciation for the weight of that back pack! Love always, Mum BTW, it was a great way to spend Mother's Day.

Hi Katy and Mark

I have been keeping up with your blog and I enjoy reading about your trip. It seems time is flying in fast and soon you will be back having conquered the appalachian trail. Take care and stay healthy

I wasn't reading your blog when you posted this on 5/14 - didn't even know you existed. But you took a picture of me and my dogs at the Paul C Wolfe Memorial Shelter a mile or two north of Humpback Rocks this AM and I wish I'd known about your blog - I could have taken a picture of the two of you and forwarded it so you could post it! Oh well - next time. Thanks for the help this AM and have a great hike. You can see the picture you took at wesley2007.blogspot.com if you want. Take it easy,

Jay

Greetings from the 'burgh! Looks like you two are having quite the adventure so far...I'm jealous. Right now I'm looking out my office window at a parking garage on Stanwix Street, so breathe in some tasty fresh air for me and have fun! Todd and I are thinking of you and are happy that you're doing well.

Of course I'm reading. It's no Phoenician life, but you have to occupy yourself somehow. :)

Mary and Vince say hi....We and BHippo check in regularly. It's great fun to see your progress and follow your adventures. Hope K is well again.

BHippo has a new cure for Hiker's Hoof...he wants to market it, but needs a financial backer. Our advice--stay clear.

I read it every week and sometimes Heather and I talk about it! It's a great break from work. You guys should eventually publish this and write a book about your journey, I'd buy it!

Well I don't read it all the time but I do hear from your Grandmother and will check then. Good to see things are going well. As to trying to adjust your radio while hiking that could be dangerous but glad you were OK. Good thing there wasn't a sheer drop off around. I think I need more cow bell. Ed

My husband is a thru-hiker, Wirenut. I met you both in Catawba at the Homeplace and gave you a ride into Daleville, so it is fun to see how you are doing and just where you are! I really enjoy the pictures.

Hello! We don't know each other, but I have been reading your blog! Hmmmm...not sure where I found the link: trailjournals? whiteblaze? In any case, I'm planning an '08 AT thru, and I've been enjoying your writing and pics.

Adam and I check in a lot to see what my crazy sister and her hubby are up to. Sydney likes to read about all the animals you encounter.
Love,

K and M I have been keeping up with your travels. It sounds like a exciting trip. K please stay away from the Momma bears. M, I will have a good beer at Peter's and think of you both. Keep on trek'in.
